This research investigates the potential of additive manufacturing and digital planning tools for creation location-specific façade redesigns that can host cavity-dependent animal species develops methods their realization. The proposed approach is explored based on a case study student dormitory in need renovation urban area Munich. Based theoretical knowledge design experimentations link fields architecture, climate-responsive design, terrestrial ecology, fabrication, set principles inhabitable ceramic tiles conceived transferred into computational tool. conception single overall are developed terms positive climatic impact both humans, nesting opportunities, structural feasibility, integrability with standard systems.
